Now Available: Professional Ajax
The moment of truth is upon us: you can now order Professional Ajax from Amazon! I’m hoping that everyone finds this a nice follow-up to Professional JavaScript (which is now in a second printing, by the way). The guys and I worked really hard trying to make this the best possible Ajax book we could come up with, and I hope that all the readers agree. As usual, don’t hesitate to contact me with any issues.
By the way, if you were one of the reviewers for Professional JavaScript, don’t go out and buy your copy yet. Check your mail first…

I already pre-ordered my copy a couple of weeks ago. Looking forward to reading and reviewing it. Oh, and I agree about your co-authors. Mr. McPeak is very helpful/resourceful guy.

When will a sample chapter be made available?

Bart – I’m not sure. It’s completely up to the publisher when they decide to post additional information.

What about those ‘time challenged’ types who narrow their focus on asp/vbscript (and are making baby steps into .NET) and avoid the php scripting ? Is this book a php book ?
Lonnie Rolland on February 10th, 2006 at 4:39 pm
Lonnie, there is a mix of PHP and .NET examples throughout the book. There is no old-school ASP, however.
